France connected 1.5 GW of solar PV capacity in Q2 2026, including 48 MW paired with storage, bringing first-half additions to around 2.9 GW, data from French grid operator Enedis showed. The country added 2.76 GW of solar capacity in 2025, compared with 2.04 GW in 2024.
