Coking Coal Production, Sales and Stock (88 Cos)

Fenwei Energy picked 227 coal mines of 88 Coal Enterprises as monitoring sites in Shanxi, Shandong,Inner Mongolia,Shaanxi,Hebei and so on, with total production capacity at 475 Mtpa to monitor and record their production, sales and stocks. In-depth communication with their production and sales staff allow us to create regular reports on prices, operating rate, stocks, and production and logistics costs of each sample mine. We thus can make quantitative research on the production, sales and stocks of domestic met coal companies.

We decide the number of sample mines in each province based on its production. Priority is given to private mines with higher degree of marketization, supplemented by state-owned or local mines. Due attention is also paid to the type of met coal produced in deciding the number of coal mines. Mines of same capacity and ownership will be chosen to substitute those mines that need undergo bankruptcy and regrouping. In this case, subscribers will be informed timely.

The sample coal mines currently include 65 coal mines/enterprises in Shanxi with total capacity at 295 Mtpa; two in Hebei at 30 Mtpa, eight in Shandong at 86 Mtpa. 6 in Inner Mongolia at 24 Mtpa, 2 in Shannxi at 8Mtpa, 5 in other provinces at 30 Mtpa ;A total of 88 mines/enterprises are selected, with capacity combined at 475 Mtpa.accounting for 38.51% of th+B10:J13e total coking coal capacity in China and 44.52% in main production areas. The production capacity of sample coal mines/enterprises now accounts for over 70% of the capacities in the main producing provinces of Shanxi, Hebei and Shandong, greatly lifting the coverage of the data.
