The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy has invited proposals for concentrating solar thermal systems in industrial heating, offering up to 50% funding capped at Rs 2 crore ($0.21 mln) per project to cut fossil fuel use, local media reported on Sep 9. The deadline to submit the proposals is Oct 7.
