The Red Sea solar-storage project in Saudi Arabia, the world's largest one, has reached full commercial operation, local media reported. The facility brings a 358 MW solar plant and 1.2 GWh battery energy storage system into an isolated utility network, supplying power to local tourism facilities, desalination, cooling, water treatment and other infrastructure.
