Tokyo Steel Manufacturing Co Ltd, Japan's largest electric-arc furnace steelmaking company, said it will keep steel products prices unchanged for the second month in June in order to ensure the price increase implemented earlier this year can be absorbed by the market.

This was the second month in a row that the company kept prices for all of its steel products unchanged. In March and April, Tokyo Steel raised the prices of some products.

In June, Tokyo Steel's bar prices, including rebar, will remain at 103,000 yen/t (about $5,251/t), and H-beam prices at 127,000 yen/t.
