U.S. solar industry installed 19.2 GW of PV capacity in H1 2026, up 2.67% YoY from 18.7 GW in H1 2025, according to the latest U.S. Solar Market Insight report from the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA). In Q2, the country added 11.4 GW of solar, up 45% YoY. Total solar capacity at the end of H1 stood at 298 GW.
