International oil prices rose sharply on September 10. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude for October delivery gained $6.43 to settle at $102.48/barrel, up 6.69%, while Brent crude for November delivery climbed $6.42 to close at $107.63/barrel, a 6.34% increase.
