Uganda's Kingfisher oilfield core surface facilities pass mechanical completion

Uganda's Kingfisher oilfield, a key project in China-Africa energy cooperation, passed mechanical completion acceptance for its core surface facilities on September 10, marking the completion of Uganda's first commercial oilfield and entry into the production preparation phase. Once operational, the oilfield will help Uganda officially join the ranks of oil-producing nations, with Kingfisher's crude output expected to peak at 40,000 barrels per day.
