China's total installed power generation capacity reached 4.08 TW by end-July, up 11% year on year, according to data released Aug 25 by the National Energy Administration. Solar capacity rose 16.1% YoY to 1.29 TW, while wind capacity grew 19.5% to 690 GW. Average utilization hours of power generation equipment stood at 1,671 hours in Jan-Jul, down 135 hours from the same period last year.
