State Grid Corp of China and China Southern Power Grid Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement on Aug 18 to accelerate new-type power grid construction during the 15th "Five-Year Plan" period (2026-2030). The signing was witnessed by Zhang Zhigang, chairman and party secretary of State Grid, and Qian Zhaoyang, chairman and party secretary of China Southern Power Grid, during talks held in Guangzhou.
