Yunnan provincial government signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China Huadian Corp Ltd in Kunming on Aug 6 to deepen collaboration in green energy development, clean and efficient coal power, energy storage and new power grid construction.

Wang Ning, Communist Party secretary of Yunnan, and Governor Wang Yubo said they hope China Huadian will increase investment in the province and help accelerate the construction of a national-level clean energy base, according to a statement.
