China's cumulative power generation capacity of all sources totaled 2,599.93 GW by end-Feb, up 8.5% YoY, NEA data showed. Thermal power (mostly from coal) had the highest capacity of 1,337.86 GW, a 3.0% rise YoY, followed by hydropower capacity (414.25 GW, 5.5% YoY), solar (413.04 GW, 30.8% YoY), wind (371.26 GW, 11.0% YoY) and nuclear (55.57 GW, 4.3% YoY).
