Goldman Sachs raises 2026-2027 oil price forecasts by $5/barrel on Middle East shipping risks

Goldman Sachs raised its oil price forecasts for December 2026 and 2027 by $5/barrel on Sept 7, now seeing Brent crude at $85 and $80/barrel respectively, with WTI at $80 and $75/barrel. The bank said Middle East shipping disruptions could persist into next year, leaving upside risks to oil prices clearly elevated.
