China's steel exports exceeded 10 million tonnes for a third consecutive month in July 2026, easing from the prior month but rising year on year, according to a monthly import-export report from the China Iron and Steel Association. Long products showed resilient export demand, while flat products faced pressure with mixed performance, and billet exports remained elevated. Regionally, exports to ASEAN members diverged, shipments to the Gulf Cooperation Council continued to weaken, and exports to Turkey more than doubled month on month.
