Inner Mongolia Power Group has completed its first green power export transaction to Jiangxi, marking the 13th province covered by the grid operator's cross-provincial green electricity sales.

The transaction, settled on August 26, involved 6.16 GWh of electricity delivered from the Inner Mongolia grid to Jiangxi, following successful expansions into 12 other provinces and municipalities including Beijing, Tianjin, Shandong, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian, Jiangsu, Chongqing, Hubei, Guangdong and Hainan.

The move represents a key step in deepening the grid operator's presence in the central China electricity market, filling a critical gap in its regional layout and laying groundwork for establishing regular inter-provincial green power trading mechanisms with more central China provinces.

Inner Mongolia Power Group said it will continue leveraging the region's renewable energy resources, optimizing cross-provincial trading procedures and developing innovative trading products to expand the reach of its green power exports nationwide, supporting China's carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals.
