China's national voluntary greenhouse gas emission reduction trading system recorded 332,514 tonnes of certified emission reductions (CERs) traded on Aug 6, with a transaction value of 31.02 million yuan ($4.35 million) and an average price of 93.28 yuan/t, according to system data. As of Aug 6, 2026, cumulative trading volume in the national voluntary emission reduction market reached 19.36 million tonnes, with total transaction value of 1.51 billion yuan.
