China's national voluntary greenhouse gas emission reduction trading system saw 101,000 tonnes of certified emission reductions (CCER) change hands on Sep 8, with turnover reaching 9.26 million yuan ($1.38 million) and an average price of 91.72 yuan/t, according to exchange data. Cumulative trading volume since the market's launch stood at 22.23 million tonnes as of Sep 8, 2026, with total turnover of 1.78 billion yuan.
