China's national carbon market prices edge up on Jul 21, trading volume at 244,195 tonnes

Shanghai Environment and Energy Exchange data showed China's national carbon emission allowance (CEA) prices edged higher on Jul 21, with the benchmark closing at 90.54 yuan/t, up 0.43% from the previous day. The market saw total trading volume of 244,195 tonnes, with a total turnover of 22.08 million yuan. Listed contracts accounted for 144,195 tonnes worth 13.06 million yuan, while bulk contracts traded 100,000 tonnes valued at 9.03 million yuan. No one-way bidding was conducted.
