China imported 12.18 million tonnes of coking coal in June 2026, up both year on year and month on month, according to the latest data from the General Administration of Customs. Nearly 60% of the total came from Mongolia, with imports from the country reaching 7.18 million tonnes, a 52.7% YoY and 3.1% MoM increase.
