Japan produced 6.99 Mt of crude steel in Feb, down 3.8% MoM yet up 1.1% YoY, according to data released by the Japan Iron and Steel Federation. The output of ordinary steel was 5.47 Mt, down 2.3% YoY yet up 1.1% MoM.
