Japan's JERA Co., Ltd. lifted fuel restrictions on Aug 15-16 for units 5 and 6 (600 MW each) at its Hirono thermal power plant, after the units were constrained on Aug 11, with unit 6 forced to cut output by 420 MW. On the same day, the 544 MW IGCC unit at Hirono also had its fuel restrictions removed, following a 270 MW output reduction on Aug 14.
