Fujian, Inner Mongolia, Zhejiang, Guangdong, and Shandong were the top five Chinese coal importing provinces in Aug 2026. Their cumulative coal imports were 26.78 Mt, up 1.09% YoY but down 3.59% MoM, accounting for 63.6% of the total coal imports in China, according to the General Administration of Customs.
