In Aug 2026, Inner Mongolia, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shandong and Zhejiang were the top five thermal power producers in China, reaching 62.14 TWh (3.6% YoY), 54.74 TWh (14.5% YoY), 51.69 TWh (-8.4% YoY), 47.19 TWh (-3.1% YoY) and 36.84 TWh (-6.8% YoY), respectively, showed the latest data from the National Bureau of Statistics.
