Shanghai International Energy Exchange data showed crude futures' main contract for October 2026 delivery settled at 699.30 yuan/barrel on Sep 7, up 16.20 yuan, or 2.37%. Total trading volume across all contracts reached 254,748 lots, with open interest rising 5,261 lots to 88,885 lots. The main contract saw volume of 195,677 lots, with open interest up 3,181 lots to 38,974 lots.
