Shaanxi Coal Industry Co., Ltd. said on September 7 that its coal output reached 15.02 million tonnes in August 2026, up 5.00% year on year, while sales of self-produced coal totaled 13.49 million tonnes, up 4.58% from a year earlier.

Based on previous announcements, August output rose 3.87% month on month, an increase of 560,000 tonnes, while self-produced coal sales grew 3.31% from the previous month, up 420,000 tonnes.

During January-August 2026, cumulative coal output reached 120.48 million tonnes, up 4.02% year on year, with self-produced coal sales totaling 110.51 million tonnes, up 3.51% compared with the same period last year.

In August 2026, the company's total power generation stood at 4.79 TWh, down 8.61% year on year, while total electricity sales were 4.49 TWh, down 8.65% from a year earlier.

For January-August 2026, cumulative power generation reached 28.37 TWh, up 1.67% year on year, with total electricity sales of 26.65 TWh, up 1.89% compared with the same period last year.
