Colombia's coal exports rebounded in July from the previous month but remained below year-earlier levels, according to data from the National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE).
Exports totaled 4.43 million tonnes in July, down 14.08% from a year earlier but up 20.82% from the previous month, DANE data showed. Colombia exported 5.16 million tonnes in July 2025 and 3.67 million tonnes in June 2026.

Export value reached $464 million in July, down 3.26% year on year but up 17.99% from a month earlier.
The average export price was calculated at $104.8/t, up 12.6% from a year earlier but down 2.34% from the previous month.
During January-July 2026, Colombia's cumulative coal exports rose 5.22% year on year to 29.87 million tonnes, with export value up 1.52% at $2.90 billion.
