China's national carbon market sees prices slip 1.1% on Sep 3

China's national carbon market saw its benchmark carbon price close at 94.40 yuan on Sep 3, down 1.1% from the previous trading day, according to data from the Shanghai Environment and Energy Exchange. The market opened at 95.30 yuan, with the day's trading range between 94.00 yuan and 95.30 yuan. Total carbon emission allowance (CEA) volume reached 782,147 tonnes, with a turnover of 73.78 million yuan ($10.88 million), comprising 211,000 tonnes traded via listed contracts worth 19.92 million yuan and 571,147 tonnes via bulk contracts worth 53.86 million yuan. No one-way bidding transactions were conducted during the session.
