The Baltic Dry Index (BDI) fell 0.91% from the previous session to 3,157 points on Sep 1, 2026, marking its steepest decline since Aug 19, 2026. The Panamax index (BPI) rose 1.94% to 2,360 points, while the Capesize index (BCI) dropped 2.16% to 5,221 points. The Supramax index (BSI) edged up 0.18% to 1,650 points.
