Bulgaria Jun coal output rises 6.4% YoY

Bulgaria's coal production rose 6.4% year on year to 936,000 tonnes in June, while the country's electricity generation climbed 4.6% year on year and 3.4% on the month to 3.16 TWh, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) reported on August 28.

Total oil-product output dropped 7% from a year earlier to 560,000 tonnes. Motor gasoline production fell 2.2% year on year to 131,000 tonnes, transport diesel output slipped 4.5% to 255,000 tonnes, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) production declined 11.1% to 8,000 tonnes.

On the deliveries side, coal deliveries rose 5.6% year on year to 1.01 million tonnes, and electricity deliveries increased 2.6% to 2.47 TWh. Natural gas deliveries retreated 3.4% to 143 million cubic meters.

Aggregate oil-product deliveries gained 5.6% year on year to 413,000 tonnes. Motor gasoline deliveries jumped to 53,000 tonnes, versus 23,000 tonnes in the same month last year. LPG deliveries fell 2.7% to 36,000 tonnes, while transport diesel deliveries eased 2.5% to 232,000 tonnes.
