Anhui province's raw coal output from industrial enterprises above designated size reversed to growth in July 2026, after declining in June.
Output reached 8.73 million tonnes in July, up 1.4% year on year, compared with a 5.2% decline in June, according to data from the provincial statistics bureau.
During January-July, coal output totaled 61.29 million tonnes, down 0.5% year on year.
Power generation from industrial enterprises above designated size fell 7.8% in July from a year earlier, reversing a 2.6% increase in June, to 33.9 TWh. Thermal, wind and solar power output declined 7.8%, 5% and 15.8% respectively, while hydropower rose 7.6%.
January-July power generation rose 2.5% year on year to 204.06 TWh across the province.
