Data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed that in July 2026, the top five coke-producing regions — Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Shaanxi and Xinjiang — produced a combined 22.58 million tonnes of coke, accounting for 54.6% of the national total, down 0.3 percentage points from the previous month. Among them, Shanxi's coke output fell 1.6% month on month to 8.19 million tonnes.
