National Bureau of Statistics data shows coal mining and washing industry ex-factory prices rose 4.2% month on month in July 2026, up 27.1% year on year, with a 5.1% YoY gain for January-July. Ferrous metal smelting and rolling prices fell 0.8% MoM in July, up 2.7% YoY, while the January-July period saw a 0.6% YoY decline.
