Some coal mines in Luliang, Shanxi halted production due to electrical safety issues, while other regions remained unchanged on August 4, according to the latest survey by Sxcoal. Several mines in Qinyuan of Changzhi and Lingshi of Jinzhong are expected to resume operations on August 5, with suspensions and restarts recurring across the province.
Most operating mines are running at a low 50-70% of capacity due to inspections, safety concerns, previous overproduction and underground conditions, keeping overall supply tight.
