Coal stocks at Indian power plants stood at 38.63 Mt on Jul 29, sufficient for about 12.37 days of coal burn, according to the latest data from the Central Electricity Authority. Furthermore, 31 coal-fired power plants were operating with critical stocks, the data showed.
