Port Alliance to invest 11.6 bln rubles to expand Osterra coal terminal

Russia's Port Alliance Group will invest 11.6 bln rubles ($145 mln) this year to expand its Osterra coal terminal in Vanino to a 40 Mtpa capacity. The project, part of a 26.5 bln ruble modernization, is 69% complete and will boost Russian coal shipments to the Asia-Pacific by 22%. First-half 2026 cargo turnover of the terminal jumped 45% to 12.2 Mt.
