China's Vice Transport Minister Xu Chengguang said on Jul 21 the country will continue building cross-regional and cross-basin transport corridors during the 15th "Five-Year Plan" period, with a focus on speeding up the development of a "one-axis, two-wings, multi-link" network for shipping Xinjiang coal out of the region.
