China's top five coke-producing regions — Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Shaanxi and Xinjiang — produced a combined 23.07 million tonnes of coke in June 2026, accounting for 55% of the national total, according to provincial output data from the National Bureau of Statistics. Output in Shanxi, the largest producing region, stood at 8.33 million tonnes, down 4.0% month on month.
