The Baltic Dry Index (BDI) rose 2.44% MoM to 2,562 points on July 1, its highest in four days and the biggest single-day gain since May 28, 2026, marking a second consecutive session of gains. The Panamax index (BPI) climbed 1.07% to 2,177 points, the Capesize index (BCI) surged 4.06% to 3,692 points, and the Supramax index (BSI) edged up 0.36% to 1,673 points.
