Carbon prices in China's national carbon market closed at 77.97 yuan/t on Jan 7, up 4.48% DoD. The highest price reached 79.19 yuan/t, while the lowest was 74.00 yuan/t. The total trade volume of CEA was 3.37 Mt, valued at 255.27 mln yuan. Bulk contract trades totaled 3.05 Mt, valued at 229.98 mln yuan, while that of listed contracts amounted to 324,311 tonnes, valuing 25.29 mln yuan, according to data from Shanghai Environment and Energy Exchange.
