China Coal Energy Co., Ltd, the listed arm of China National Coal Group, reported its polyolefin output at 127,000 tonnes in November 2025, rising 5.8% year on year yet declining 3.8% month on month.

Polyolefin sales stood at 126,000 tonnes, climbing 7.7% on the year and 2.4% on the month, according to figures released by the company on December 16.

China Coal Energy produced 64,000 tonnes of polyethylene, 6.7% higher than the year-ago level but dropping 4.5% from a month ago. The production of polypropylene was 63,000 tonnes, increasing 5% year on year yet tumbling 3.1% month on month.

The company sold 65,000 tonnes of polyethylene, jumping 12.1% from a year ago and 8.3% from a month ago. Polypropylene sales were 61,000 tonnes, gaining 3% on the year but descending 3.2% on the month.

In January-November, the company's polyolefin output stood at 1.25 million tonnes. Polyethylene output totaled 641,000 tonnes, down 10.1% year on year, while that of polypropylene amounted to 608,000 tonnes, falling 9.9% from a year earlier.

The production of urea was 181,000 tonnes in November, down 1.1% year on year yet keeping flat from October. Urea sales were 145,000 tonnes, sliding 13.7% on the year and 31% on the month.

In November, the company produced 167,000 tonnes of methanol, retreating 1.2% from the preceding year but growing 36.9% on the month, and sold 165,000 tonnes, sliding 12.2% on the year yet increasing 34.1% on the month.
