On Aug 8, Mongolian miner Erdenes Tavantolgoi JSC started an auction of 128-Kt Mongolian thermal coal (S 1%, A 25%, V 34%, Q 5500) on the Mongolian Stock Exchange at $34.2/t, delivered to Ganqimaodu border port and exclusive of VAT, flat from Aug 7. All the cargo was traded at $38.1/t, up $2.4/t from the last deal. Cargoes should be supplied before Sep 30, 2025, after the payment is done.
