China Three Gorges Renewables Co., Ltd generated 39.31 TWh of power in the first half of 2025, up 8.85% year on year (YoY), according to the company's preliminary data released on July 9.

Breaking it down by energy source, wind power generation rose by 8.69% YoY to 25.06 TWh. Onshore wind power contributed 17.52 TWh, up 15.21% YoY, while offshore wind power saw a decrease of 3.95% YoY, totaling 7.54 TWh. Solar power generation climbed 10.25% YoY to 13.91 TWh, and independent energy storage surged 84.86% YoY to 342 GWh.

In the second quarter of 2025, the company generated 19.53 TWh of power, a 6.24% YoY increase. Within this, wind power output increased 5.93% YoY to 11.69 TWh, with onshore wind power up 10.24% YoY to 8.49 TWh, while offshore wind dropped 4.02% YoY to 3.20 TWh. Solar power saw an 8.16% YoY rise to 7.68 TWh, and independent energy storage jumped 85.06% YoY to 161 GWh.
