On Oct 15, one major miner in Qipanjing of Inner Mongolia started an online auction of low-S fat coal (S 0.8%, A 12%) at 1,440 yuan/t and closed the deal at 1,460 yuan/t, down 10 yuan/t from the previous settlement on Oct 12. The miner also concluded an auction of mid-S fat coal (S 1%, A 15%) at 1,270 yuan/t, down 30 yuan/t compared to the last trade, with the starting prices of 1,270 yuan/t.
