Hami railway delivers 20+ Mt coal to the outside

Coal mining and transporting enterprises in Hami, northwestern China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, had delivered 21.04 million tonnes of coal via Hami railway to other provinces and regions in the year to November 21, state media reported.

Hami boasts rich coal resources, with major coal mining areas including Hami, Naomaohu and Santanghu. The coal produced is delivered via railway mainly to the Hexi Corridor in Gansu, Chengdu, Chongqing and Guizhou.

Since entering November, Hami railway's freight department has actively coordinated with relevant companies inside and outside the Xinjiang region in an effort to strengthen coal supply and facilitate the outbound transport of coal produced in Xinjiang.
