China's public fund assets under management rose 1.35% MoM to 39.63 trillion yuan as of end-August 2026, according to the latest data from the Asset Management Association of China. Hybrid funds posted the strongest growth, with net asset value rising about 256.8 billion yuan in the month to 4.09 trillion yuan, while money market funds climbed to 16.31 trillion yuan. Equity fund NAV edged up to 5.04 trillion yuan and bond fund NAV saw a slight increase, with the overall trend remaining stable.
