China's key coal enterprises sold 70.17 million tonnes of coal in early September 2026, with daily average sales of 7.02 million tonnes, according to data from the China Coal Transportation and Distribution Association. Daily average sales rose by 220,000 tonnes, or 3.3% MoM, from late August and increased by 290,000 tonnes, or 4.2% YoY.
