China's national carbon market saw its benchmark carbon emission allowance (CEA) price close at 95.45 yuan on Sep 2, down 1.62% from the previous trading day, according to data from the Shanghai Environment and Energy Exchange. The day's trading ranged between an opening and high of 96.20 yuan and a low of 92.70 yuan. Total CEA volume reached 1,545,456 tonnes, with a turnover of 137.69 million yuan ($20.30 million), comprising 338,768 tonnes traded via listed contracts worth 32.34 million yuan and 1,206,688 tonnes via bulk contracts worth 105.35 million yuan. No one-way bidding transactions were conducted during the session.
