China's central bank data shows 115.658 billion bank accounts were opened nationwide by the end of the second quarter of 2026, including 125 million corporate accounts and 15.532 billion personal accounts.In Q2, Chinese banks processed 2.168393 trillion non-cash payment transactions worth 1,698.4 trillion yuan, while bill transactions totaled 26.8223 million with a value of 22.22 trillion yuan, according to the People's Bank of China.
