India's coal-fired power output rose 11.3% YoY to 116.28 TWh in Aug 2026, easing from the nearly 13% growth recorded in Jul and around 14% in Jun, according to data from Grid-India. Renewable generation, however, jumped 42.1% YoY to 35.14 TWh.
