Russia-based mining and steel producer Mechel reported a 23% YoY decline in its consolidated revenue of 117.35 bln rubles ($1.35 bln) in H1 2026 due to low coal prices, weak steel demand, high interest rates and sanctions-related restrictions. Net loss attributable to shareholders totaled 41.47 bln rubles, compared with 40.51 bln rubles a year ago.
